01 / AboutAbout the United Nations Global Compact.

Launched in 2000 as a special initiative of the United Nations Secretary-General, the United Nations Global Compact brings together companies that are committed to responsible and sustainable business practices.

The initiative encourages companies to act responsibly, report on their progress and contribute to broader societal goals through a principles-based approach. Its focus areas are:

Human Rights

Human Rights

Supporting and respecting internationally recognised human rights.

Labour

Labour

Promoting fair, safe and inclusive working practices.

Environment

Environment

Considering environmental responsibility in business decisions.

Anti-Corruption

Anti-Corruption

Working against corruption in all its forms, including bribery and extortion.

These areas are reflected in the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact, which provide a recognised foundation for responsible business conduct.

02 / ContextWhat this means for LANE People & Projects.

Since our foundation, LANE People & Projects has placed people, trust and responsible decision-making at the centre of its work. Our services support better employee experiences, organisational transformation, sustainable working practices and responsible project delivery.

Joining the United Nations Global Compact strengthens this approach by connecting our values to a global initiative built on accountability, transparency and continuous improvement. It also supports the way we work with our people, clients, partners and wider stakeholder community.

03 / CommitmentsOur commitments.

As part of our participation, LANE People & Projects will continue to develop its approach across the following areas.

01 / Human Rights & Labour

Human Rights and Labour

We will continue to support a working culture that respects fundamental rights, promotes equal opportunity and stands against discrimination. This applies to our own organisation as well as to the way we collaborate with clients, partners and stakeholders.

02 / Environment

Environmental Responsibility

We will continue to consider environmental impact in our operational and project-related decisions. Our aim is to integrate more sustainable practices into the way we work, make decisions and deliver value.

03 / Ethics

Ethical Business Conduct

We will continue to prioritise transparency, honesty and ethical standards across our relationships and business practices. Integrity remains central to the way we build trust with our people, clients, partners and wider community.

04 / Reporting

Annual Communication on Progress

As part of our continued engagement with the United Nations Global Compact, we will report annually on our progress through the Communication on Progress — making our commitments visible, tracking our development and sharing our progress with stakeholders transparently.

A long-term commitment

The beginning of a long-term process.

For LANE People & Projects, joining the United Nations Global Compact is an important milestone in our sustainability journey. It marks the beginning of a long-term process of action, learning and accountability.

We will continue to improve, report and contribute to a more responsible business environment.

Committed to responsible business. Designed for long-term value.
